The PBY Catalina was manufactured by United Aircraft Corporation in the 1930s and 1940s and was one of the most widely used seaplanes during World War II. It was used for anti-submarine warfare, patrol bombing, escort, search and rescue, and cargo transport.
The Dynam PBY Catalina V2 is a twin-engine remote-controlled seaplane with a three-piece detachable wing that is easy to assemble. The aircraft has a 1500 mm (59 in) wingspan and dual Detrum BM2815A-1100KV (CS and CCW) brushless motors. The RC plane comes standard with a 3S 11.1V 2200mAh Li-Po batterythat provides 8-10 minutes of smooth flight, making it ideal for lake flying. At the same time, it is equipped with dual TomCat Skylord-30A ESCs 2A-BEC and LED lighting (with pre-soldered connectors), and a light controller for static and flashing modes to better observe the position and status of the aircraft. Dynam SRTF version is based on the standard RTF (Ready to Fly), which integrates the iStone 6-Axis Gyro Stabilizer w/ ABS System: RC airplanes get everything in a box to fly.
